Karen has been an integral part of C & F Legal since its inception, working alongside original directors Rick and Kathy for over 20 years. As one of the firm’s founding team members, Karen has played a pivotal role in establishing the business and shaping the high standards and culture that define it today.

Over that time, her role has continued to evolve in response to changes in systems, technology, team dynamics, and client needs, making it a role that is always changing and engaging.

Karen works as a Personal Assistant within our Conveyancing and Commercial team, providing capable and reliable support alongside team PAs Penny and June. She supports Kathy and the wider team, including Carl, Kayla, Robyn and Nicola. She is a reliable and steady presence, known for her efficiency, organisational skills, practical approach, and ability to step in wherever needed.

Karen’s understanding of the firm’s systems and processes, and her experience and attention to detail contribute quietly but significantly to the smooth running of the practice.

Karen grew up in sunny Nelson and is now raising her own family here. Previously a keen gym enthusiast and snowboarder, she looks forward to returning to those activities as her children get older.
